ABCs of Salvation
Accepting God's gift and aligning your life with Jesus requires your whole heart, but it's not complicated. It's as easy as the ABCs!
A - ACCEPT God's free gift of salvation. Don't try to earn it! Our relationship with God is not restored by anything we do, but on the basis of what Jesus already did for us!
B - BELIEVE In Jesus Christ, asking Him to be Lord of your life. To “believe in your heart” implies an active trust and confidence that Jesus Christ, who died and rose again as the only Savior of the world, will bring salvation into your life. That active trust produces action in our lives.
C - CONFESS Your sin and commit your life to Jesus.
You don’t have to wonder whether or not you’re right with God. You can know that you have eternal life! We invite you to pray this simple prayer from your heart:
Dear Jesus,
Thank you for creating me and for loving me—
Even when I’ve ignored you and gone my own way.
I realize I need you in my life and I’m sorry for my sins.
I ask you to forgive me.
Thank you for dying on the cross for me.
As much as I know how, I want to follow you from now on.
Please walk with me every day and make me a new person inside.
I accept your free gift of salvation and receive power—your power.
Please help me to grow now as a Christian.
